Family Traditions With A Jacktivities Twist!
We all have our favorite holiday traditions that we do with our family and friends. This year, try putting a Jacktivities twist on them!
Who hasn’t read the book the North Pole Express when they were a kid! It’s a tradition in my family to read it every year and even though my cousins and I are all grown adults we never tire of hearing the story. Make your own family memories and hear the story again but this year put a little twist in it! This year take a train ride through the wintery countryside to visit Santa. You and the family can spend the day on the North Pole Express at the Arcade and Attica Railroad. Bring along with you letters for Santa Clause even! The best part about all of this you can wear your pajamas on this ride! What! Yes! Pull on the footie pajamas you have and head out for the best train ride ever. Reservations are required and they do go fast so make sure you don’t miss out on the fun and make a reservation today!
Another amazing family tradition in our household is to read the story ‘twas the night before Christmas. This is another story that we totally know the ending but who cares! We all snuggle up together with blankets and cookies and read the story. This year watch as the beloved Christmas Story comes to life on stage. Join Izzy the mouse, Josie the Christmas Reindeer, all of her friends, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus for a live stage performance. The audience will even get the chance to join in and help conquer the Abominable Snowman, play reindeer games, dance, sing, giggle, and yell to help Izzy and Rosie save Christmas. Check out next weekend ‘Twas the night before Christmas at the Lancaster Opera House.
