Local Events In Western New York!

First of all, if something is free, you definitely need to do it! There is free ice skating at Rotary Rink in Downtown Buffalo. I have been to this rink a few times, and I love it! It’s a little smaller than most rinks, BUT let me remind you that is free!

If you don’t know where the rink is, no worries! It’s located at Fountain Plaza in Buffalo. It’s right on Main Street, but since that hasn’t been open yet to traffic, you’ll just have to park and walk over. It’s open Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Then again, if you’re not the athletic type, or the idea of being outside in the cold is not appealing, then how about a Birthday Bash! This one is a very special birthday bash because it’s Johnny Cash’s Birthday Bash! Get out celebrate a true country legend's birthday at the Tralf Music Hall on Main Street in Buffalo. The annual bash features artists performing the legendary music of the Man in Black. There will even be a Big Black Birthday Cake in honor of Johnny!
