Lady Gaga, Florence Welch, Fergie + Mary J. Blige — Who Sang ‘Gimme Shelter’ Best? [POLL]
It takes a powerhouse to go toe-to-toe with Mick Jagger and successfully pull off Merry Clayton's vocals in "Gimme Shelter," one of the most recognizable female vocal parts of all time and one of the Stones' greatest songs.
To Newtown, With Love — A Townsquare Media Buffalo Effort to Help Heal Sandy Hook
Since news broke of Friday's (December 14) tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., so many people -- at our studio, in Buffalo and across the country -- have been asking what they can do to help. And while nothing we can do will ever really be enough, we want to help Buffalonians show their support for our East Coast neighbors.
Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting — Twitter Reacts, Watch President Obama’s Address
All of us at Jack FM are -- like everyone -- thinking of and praying for those affected by the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn. today (December 14).
We're usually pretty good with the words, but these tweets say it better than we can. Hug your loved ones tight tonight.
92.9 Jack FM — New Look, Still Playing What We Want
This week's been a little crazy. I've spent a lot of late nights in our dumpy little studio being an internet nerd. But after seeing our new site design launch, I think it was worth it.

Looking at the bottom half of the above postcard, can you tell what the old Greyhound Bus Terminal is today? And, no, the answer is not "a pile of rubble" -- this puppy (ha, I'm punny!) is still (mostly) standing.
Here's a hint: This bus terminal was located a few blocks away from the current bus station on Ellicott Street, on Main Street.
Give up?
Have You Seen Thanksgiving? It’s Missing! [PICTURE] [#SAVETHANKSGIVING]
The Coalition to Save Thanksgiving has a crackpot design team behind the scenes. These bad boys went up all over town today, so be sure to give us a call if you see one!
The Buffalo Public Library in Lafayette Square Was SO PRETTY! [BUFFALO: THEN AND NOW]
Every day as I walk to and from my car, I pass the Buffalo Public Library's Central Branch, which is just across Lafayette Square from our dumpy little studio. It's clear from the old photo of the Square above that a very pretty, old building used to be where the library stands now -- but what was it?
