It looks like Mother Nature is taking a page out of Oprah's playbook and everyone in Western New York will be getting snow this week!

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning for Western New York.

The Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Northern Erie and Genesee counties, while a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Southern Erie, Wyoming, and Chautauqua counties.

Both advisory and warning will be in place until Wednesday night at 6 pm.

6 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9
  inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Erie and Genesee counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 6 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. The
  hazardous conditions could impact commutes this evening and
  Wednesday morning.
WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
  of 10 to 20 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds
  gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
  counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
  impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes this
  morning, this evening and Wednesday morning.
