AC/DC used to sing about noise pollution.  But what really constitutes "noise pollution" and where would you find it the most in Western New York?

Noise pollution could be described as the disturbing or excessive noise that may harm the activity or balance of human or animal life.

Most of the time, noise pollution is caused by machines - cars, trucks, airplanes.

So it's no surprise when you look at a map that tells you where you'll find the most noise pollution, you'll find most of it around interstates or airports.

Click here to see the map of the United States.  You can then type your town or city in the search box in the top left corner to see what it's like in  your neck of the woods.

Why does it matter?  Well, when buying and selling a house, it's all about location right?  It's something to think about when considering real estate properties.

Plus, t's pretty interesting to see not only the airports stand out, but also their flight patterns coming in to and leaving the airport itself.
