We Still Love The General Lee!

The Batmobile, KITT from Knight Rrider and Doc Brown's DeLorean are all treasured cars from television and movie history. Nevertheless, one of our favorite cars is The General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard.

Apparently, we aren’t the only ones who love The General Lee. The show may be off the air, but fans have remained dedicated to the car. Many travel to a popular Hazzard Homecoming festival every year to see more than 50 General Lee replicas. In the past, the Homecoming has reached attendance of over 100,000 fans! There's also a North American Fan Club for devoted General Lee lovers, and the famous ’69 Dodge Charger was even the subject of a song written by Johnny Cash!

If you've ever dreamed of pulling a signature Duke brother slide across the hood of The General Lee, you might have the chance to do just that at this weekend's Backyard BBQ & Summer Family Concert.
