WATCH WNY’s Abby Wambach Honored With ESPY Icon Award

Local girl Abby Wambach (born in Rochester and played in WNY) was honored last night with the ESPY Icon award for her major contribution to the sport of soccer after she retired from international play after this past season.

At the ESPY Awards, Justin Timberlake brought up the three honorees, including Peyton Manning and Kobe Bryant with Wambach, all three who retired this year.
