Warm Spring Ahead: Above-Average Temperatures Expected In WNY Through May

After some snow showers on Friday, the rest of the weekend is looking good here in Western New York and next week's forecast looks warmer than normal. Mid-50's by Monday!

Could winter be over? It's starting to look that way.

The long-range forecast calls for temperatures to be above normal for March, April and May, according to WKBW.

The El Nino/Southern Oscillation is the best indicator for a long-range forecast and the ENSO right now is neutral and will persist for several weeks, which would lead to above-average temperatures for Western New York.

I think I speak for most in the region that we are so ready for the warmer weather.
