According to several reports on social media after plenty of back and forth and several denials from other major league parks, the Toronto Blue Jays will play their home games this year in Buffalo at Sahlen Field, the home of the Buffalo Bisons.

There were a couple of hang-ups with the Jays playing in the AAA ballpark but after a proposed moved to play games in Pittsburgh was denied by the state of Pennsylvania, and a move to play in Baltimore was also squashed, The Blue Jays are shuffling off to Buffalo.

The Buffalo Bisons are the AAA affiliate of the Bluejays and because of COVID-19, the minor league season was canceled earlier this year, leaving Sahlen Field open to Toronto.

Both Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown posted on Twitter that they would both love to have the Bluejays in Buffalo this year.
