For most of us, the first day of summer comes and goes without any major fanfare, but there is one place where the "Summer Solstice" is celebrated.

Every year on the first day of Summer, the fine folks in Fairbanks, Alaska hold a midnight baseball game.

See, because of their location, Fairbanks will get sunlight for 22 hours straight! So what better way to celebrate than with America's pastime!

The annual Midnight Baseball game has been played every year since 1906!
