The hated rivalry between the Sabres and Flyers renews itself tonight as the Sabres look to improve their record at home this year. The Flyers will be without the services of Danny Briere, but there still are plenty of reasons for Sabres fans to boo the Flyers at the First Niagara Center.

Here are just a couple of reasons why the City of Brotherly Love won't be getting any votes from Buffalonians anytime soon.

    It's not the Queen City

Let's be real Buffalo has many more cool places to go and see...also throw in the best fans that support their teams through thick and thin.

They Don't Get to Smell Cereal Downtown

Whether it's Cheerios, Lucky Charms or some other type of cereal the General Mills plant has given the people of Buffalo something nice to smell on morning commutes downtown.

    Robert Esche?

The 2006 Men's U.S hockey team finished in 8th place in Italy and Ryan Miller was snubbed a spot by many opinions. Robert Esche was given the third goalie spot on the team and never touched the ice during a game in those Olympics.

    Briere-gate

No Buffalo fans don't sing Danny Boy...although it would be kinda funny. Danny Briere decided to part way with the Sabres a year after Martin Biron jumped ship and headed to Philly. It was completely unexpected though when Briere chose the Flyers over his hometown Canadiens. Briere now must suffer the boo's from more than just Sabres fans

    1975 Stanley Cup Finals

The Flyers spoiled the Sabres inaugural trip to the Stanley Cup finals as the Flyers would become the only team to win a championship with a complete roster of Canadians..a record that still holds to this day. The Flyers would win the cup in seven games shutting out Buffalo 2-0 in the deciding game.
