The Sabres Will Unveil Their New Royal Blue Jerseys This Week

Get ready Sabres fans -- the return to royal blue is coming.

According to the Sabres official social media accounts, they will debut their "return to royal" this week (revealing their new royal blue uniforms). It was announced at the start of the year that the Sabres would return to their original color scheme of royal blue starting with the 2020-2021 season.

According to WGRZ, the official uniform debut will be Tuesday at 9 am.

Starting Monday (8/10), the Sabres will have a "Jersey Reveal Week," which will include giveaways, exclusive content, and community-based initiatives.

Monday will see game-issued jerseys given away on the Sabres' social media pages, as well as a special Gilbert Perreault bobblehead, which can be redeemed by season ticket holders through an email that will be sent out.

Not only that, but local landmarks will be lit up royal blue. Thursday will feature royal-blue gear given away to fans on social media.

I grew up with the black and red Sabres jerseys, but those are my second favorite...the royal blue jerseys are still my favorite and I can't wait for Tuesday!
