One of the movies I grew up on was the original Mighty Ducks, which was about a group of kids on a youth hockey team in Minnesota that were, well, terrible...that's until coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) took over and made them winners.

The movie had two sequels and even inspired the name of the new NHL team in the early '90's, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

Now, that Mighty Ducks nostalgia will reportedly be returning.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, a Mighty Ducks TV show reboot is coming to Disney's streaming service Disney+ and even Emilio Estevez will be returning as head coach for it!

This is the rumored plot for the show:

“After getting kicked off the junior division Mighty Ducks team, a 13-year-old boy and his mom decide to start their own team, finding players, a coach, and a place to play.”

Filming for the new show is reportedly beginning in Vancouver this March.

This should be awesome!
