If you plan on traveling next week for the Thanksgiving holiday, be prepared for a lot of travel volume this year.

According to WIVB, AAA predicts the second-highest travel volume since they starting keeping track in 2000. This would be the highest travel volume Thanksgiving holiday since 2005.

55 million people are expected to travel more than 50 miles for Turkey Day. 1.6 million more people will travel this year than 2018.

Every form of travel is expected to be busy, whether it's by plane or ground.

The busiest time on the roads is supposed to be Wednesday afternoon, as people make their ways to their travel destinations.

The holidays in general should be very busy this year, considering Thanksgiving is falling on the latest possible date this year (November 28th).
