The Center for Disease Control (CDC) is WARNING: Do Not Snuggle or Kiss Chickens?

Really!?  Do not kiss or snuggle a chicken.  OH NOOOOO!  That's too hard for me to do...resist kissing a chicken? ... I do that DAILY of course!  Kidding...but if you are someone who does, be careful; there's a Nationwide Salmonella Outbreak.

The News article I read quotes Robert Glatter, an emergency medical physician at Lenox Hill Hospital., telling a New York's Fox affiliate that,

"Chickens actually have salmonella naturally and they don't get sick from it, but humans do, and the main symptoms are diarrhea, fever and abdominal pain,"

"The main issue is that people just don't wash their hands after they handle them, especially children,"
