It wasn't initially the biggest hit from the album, but Peter Gabriel's 'In Your Eyes' is now arguably the most widely beloved song from 'So' -- largely thanks to a scene from the '80s teen romance 'Say Anything...' that one of the film's stars, John Cusack, helped recreate with Gabriel on stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday (Oct. 6).

He has always worked at a snail-like pace, and that attention to detail made this such a great listen.

Peter Gabriel‘s 1986 smash hit record ‘So’ will be featured in the next installment of Eagle Rock Entertainment’s popular ‘Classic Albums’ series. The documentary, which aired on the BBC in March, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Sept. 18.

Technically, he’s a little late, but Peter Gabriel‘s fans probably don’t mind at all. On June 29, Gabriel will launch his ‘Back to Front’ tour, marking the belated 25th anniversary of his superstar-making fifth solo album, 1986′s ‘So.’
