Music from Another Dimension

Bringing it back to where it all started, Aerosmith staged a takeover of 1325 Commonwealth Ave. in Allston, Mass. yesterday, Nov. 5, playing a free show outside the apartment where they crafted many of their early songs.

It's been a long journey for Aerosmith, but their new album, 'Music From Another Dimension,' arrives today (November 6), a full 11-plus years after their last completely original release 'Just Push Play.'

The release of Aerosmith's 'Music From Another Dimension' is just weeks away, and the new music has been leaking a little bit at a time. Now fans can hear another new track, 'Out Go the Lights,' through an exclusive premiere at Rolling Stone.

In the most recent episode of Aerosmith's Making of 'Music From Another Dimension' series, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry work to describe the energy and process of making an album the guitarist calls "closer to the bone and the skeleton of what Aerosmith is than any record we've done in a long time." Episode III was revealed on Thursday.
