We spoke with Sammy Hagar on the 40th anniversary of the release of Montrose's 'Paper Money.'

In the wake of Ronnie Montrose's untimely passing, an all-star group of his friends got together to put on a show that celebrated the guitarist's contributions to rock 'n' roll. On Dec. 10, that concert is scheduled to make its home-video debut.

Sammy Hagar doesn't "record albums" so much as he simply invites some bros over to have fun and get down -- and it looks like one of his most recent recording sessions found him reconnecting with some old friends.
