You can now download Uber and get a ride. I just downloaded the app and you can request a ride from one of the zillion people that are already signed up for Uber.
I just checked and it would take me about $18.47 to get to my house in Lancaster where in an ordinary cab it would take about $45 (One time I didn't have enough money and had to get dropped off on Transit--no joke)...
June 29th can not come here fast enough. After a long, hard fought battle, ridesharing programs like Lyft and Uber will finally be able to come to the Queen City and fully operate.
While Uber seems to have thousands of drivers registered to go here in Western New York, its competitor Lyft doesn't seem to have the same strength...
