Heat

The National Weather Service has issued another heat advisory for parts of Western New York. It will be in effect from 11 am to 8 pm Thursday.

Most of us woke to gray skies, rain, and the rumble of thunder this morning, that didn't do much to quell the heat and humidity...but you can look forward to a pleasant change for the weekend.

Look out for very hot temperatures in Buffalo.

We're in the middle of one of the most intense heat waves in recent memory, and we're about to hit the crescendo.

There have been far too many stories in the news this summer about parents leaving their kids in the car while they go in and shop. This is not okay! We all know that a quick trip in the store can end up being much more than that.

Temperatures are reaching new heights as we move into the summer. Sweltering humidity have made being outdoors almost unbearable. The sun is laughing at us.

With today set to be one of the hottest days of the year, you're probably wondering how folks were able to properly function before there was air conditioning. Now imagine if you had to face that heat with a thick coat of fur. That’s what dogs have to do, and that’s why the dog in the video below loves AC even more than you do. Check it out.
