Search crews will continue to work Wednesday in North Tonawanda to find a missing swimmer.

According to Metro Source News:

The search is expected to resume today for a swimmer who apparently drowned off Tonawanda Island in North Tonawanda.   Officials say the man was swimming with someone near the Thompson Street Bridge yesterday when he went into distress.  The other person was able to make it out of the water safely.

The identity of the person has not been released and family has been notified and was present during the search on Tuesday.
