We hear about the pothole and deteriorating road conditions in Buffalo all the time it seems, but according to a new study, the roads this year are the best they've been in nearly 20 years.

According to WIVB, The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) scored the conditions of roads at a seven.

The scale goes from one to ten.

Since 2001, the road scores in Erie County have ranged from below a score of seven, all of them in the six range, given out every two years.
