One of the most convenient aspects of a 2019 lifestyle is the fact you can order food on an app like Uber Eats or DoorDash, and have it delivered to your front door within minutes.

But one study says that those food app delivery drivers occasionally, try the food they're delivering to you.

According to a new study done by US Foods, 28 percent of food app delivery drivers have taken food from an order. Ironically, 21 percent of food app customers believe their delivery drivers are indeed taking food from the order.

The study looked at habits from both delivery drivers and their customers. The study surveyed 1,500 people across popular food app delivery sites, such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and GrubHub.

Nearly 20 percent of customers say their food wasn't warm or fresh when it was delivered and 60 percent of delivery drivers complained of the lack of tips.
