Second Sonic Location Coming To Buffalo

It's the fast food place with tons of milkshake and slushie combinations, along with great chicken dishes and hot dogs (along with those great tater tots), and now, a second location will be coming to Buffalo.

According to WGRZ, the second Sonic location will be coming to Buffalo. It will be near the intersection of Elmwood and Hertel.

The location would be the first in the city of Buffalo, with the first located on Union Road in Cheektowaga.

Sonic and Uniland Development are planning on a 3,750-foot Sonic location. The plan is to have the new Sonic location on the agenda when the Buffalo Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals meet in September.

If approved, the hope for Sonic is to start construction in December, with a potential opening date by late spring.

I have a feeling that Sonic location will be very busy in the first few months. It sounds like a perfect location for it.

The popcorn chicken with tater tots and a lime slushie is my go-to whenever I go to the Cheektowaga location.
