It was always one of the most fun places to visit at the zoo when I was a kid and now, it will have a fresh new look.

The Buffalo Zoo has finishing remodeling their reptile and amphibian house.

The Donna M. Fernandes Amphibian and Reptile Center will open to the public this Friday. A tribute to the zoo's former longtime president and CEO.

It was last year the reptile house was closed for renovations that cost over $1 million. Zoo officials say the new exhibit will be state-of-the-art.
