During his testimony to Congress, former lawyer Michael Cohen is expected to bring up the time that the current President Donald Trump tried to purchase the Buffalo Bills.

It was back in 2014 after Bills founder Ralph Wilson passed away at the age of 95. His family put the team up for sale attracting several possible new owners including Jon Bon Jovi and Buffalo Sabre owner Terry Pegula.

Pegula would go on to purchase the team and that left The Donald a bit bitter during the season that year.

Check out some of the Tweets from Trump.

Donald Trump did have a history of being an owner of a professional football owner. He was the owner on the NY/NJ Generals in the USFL from 1984 until the league folded in 1986.
