Popular Food Market Set To Reopen In Buffalo

The summer has unofficially begun in Western New York and as we slowly reopen the area, there are some things to look forward to. If you love fruits and veggies fresh from the farm and garden, you are in luck!

We have always been a fan of a good farmers market and one of the area's most popular is about to begin.

According to the report, the Elmwood Village Farmers Market say plans are in the works to open it for the year on Saturday, June 6th. Vendors and visitors will be required to wear face masks. There will also be extra hand sanitizer available to prevent the spread of germs.

This is another positive sign of a somewhat normal summer. Many sports and camps that had planned on trying to open this summer will most likely have to cancel or postpone their activities.

We live in the the Town of Hamburg and the farmer's market is one of our favorite places to go. From honey to flowers and fresh fruit, it is a great way for our family to get up and get out of the house early on the weekend.

I have been saying that the farmers in our area always have worked from home and with the way things have gone in terms of weather and the pandemic, their business has also been affected.
