If you have tickets to Tuesday’s Peter Frampton show at Artpark, no need to worry that he was injured in a car accident yesterday. The show will likely go on. Although, he may not be running around on stage too much. The 70’s Guitar hero complained of hurting his back and neck, but was well enough to break news of the accident on Twitter himself yesterday.

Seems like even rock stars aren’t immune from texting drivers.

“Texting woman driver just ran into back of me while I was stationary in traffic 101 freeway. Can u say whiplash? People put the phones down!”, Frampton tweeted.

The injuries did delay his flight out of England as he paid a visit to the emergency room to take care of his back and neck pain. Frampton’s six-show tour starts on Saturday with a visit to Artpark this Tuesday, and there has been no update on his condition since then, but Frampton’s demeanor was as jovial as you could expect after getting into a fender bender.

“I’m, ‘Grinning and Bearing’ the tour already and it hasn’t even started yet! Ouch!! Ha ha ha ha.”, Frampton posted on Twitter shortly after his visit to the ER.
