If you've been around Main Street in Williamsville you know parking can be a bit of an issue. Sometimes it's difficult to find street parking. Because of that, considerations are being made in Williamsville.

According to WKBW, the village of Williamsville plans to hire an outside firm to conduct a parking study. Parking solutions will be considered, including paid parking or a parking ramp.

"We're not just sitting back thinking the enhancements we've done are done. We want to do more," said village community development director Keaton DePriest.

"We want any idea that they have to come back to us so we can look at everything and design ways to better navigate and park in the village."

The village still needs to put in a request for a proposal before hiring anyone to conduct a study.

Both parking and traffic can be a problem along Main Street in Williamsville. I used to commute there more often when I lived in Amherst but I remember how hard it was sometimes to find parking.
