We love to see businesses stand the test of time and did you know that one of the oldest family-run businesses in New York State is right here in Buffalo?

The Mayer Brothers Cider Mill and Bakery opened for our 166th season this year making them one of the oldest business in the state.

The mill was established in West Seneca, back in 1852 when Jacob Mayer purchased an apple pressing mill with the intention to service local farmers and families who could bring apples from their orchards to be pressed into cider. That first building is still in use and is used as the mill store.

You can check out the Mill, store and everything else every day between 7am and 8pm at Seneca Creek and Transit Roads in West Seneca.
