A week and a half ago it was learned that the Erie County Health Department and Sherrif's Office shut down the Swannie House in Buffalo and AJ's Clarence Hollow in Clarance for violating the state executive order of no dine-in services.

Today, both establishments had their liquor licenses suspended by the New York State Liquor Authority, according to WIVB.

On March 27th, both were accused of continuing normal operations after the state restrictions put in place due to the COVID-19 virus.

The complaint against the Swannie House showed 12 people drinking inside the bar. Erie County Health officials witnessed the people drinking inside when they arrived at 8:30 pm.

Deputies from the Erie County Sherrif's Office arrived at the bar at 9 p.m. and discovered the front door was locked; people were found to be exiting through the rear door, according to WIVB.

A health inspector witnessed 11 people drinking inside AJ's in Clarence.
