Governor Cuomo announced on Friday that NY schools would remain closed for the remainder of the 2020 school year.

According to WIVB, the future of summer school and next school year is uncertain. WNY schools have already been shut down for more than a month.

But when it comes to reopening, Gov. Cuomo has asked schools to come up with plans, which would later be approved by the state. That being said, no decision has been made on whether or not schools will reopen this fall.
