Growing up in Amherst, I remember the Northtown Plaza well. I remember the Bon-Ton my mom went to, the other small stores we visited, and I even got my license renewed at the DMV location there. That plaza has been quiet for a few years and it's now going to be a thing of the past.

According to WGRZ, crews have begun demolishing the Sheridan Drive plaza. This is to make way for the 'Station Twelve' project, which will include new retailers, including West Elm and L.L. Bean.
