Niagara Falls' Qadree Ollison Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons

According to News Stories, Niagara Falls native and Canisius High School Grad, Qadree Ollison, played had a 52 game career at the University of Pittsburgh and carried the football for more than 2,800 yards while scoring 32 total touchdowns. Qadree also holds the record at Canisius, running for 4,147 yards and scoring 57 touchdowns.

As of this past weekend, all of Qadree's hard work paid off as he was Drafted into the National Football League in the 5th Round by the Atlanta Falcons, according to reports.

News reports reveal that Quadree and his family were beside themselves upon Qadree getting a phone call telling him he was being Drafted by the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.

Qadree expressed:

“Pure exhilaration," he said a day later. "I get to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing in the NFL or having a chance to play in the NFL. It can’t get much better than that.”

Qadree talked to News Reporters about how Canisius High School impacted him and played a significant role regarding his success.

“Canisius definitely groomed me into the young man I was before I went to college," Ollison said. "I always make sure to come back and see my coaches and teachers and stuff because these are the people that helped me get to this point. You can’t thank everybody, but I try my best to show appreciation that’s helped me this way.”
