New Restaurant Coming To Vacant Transit Road Site In Amherst

Soon there will be a new restaurant at the site of the vacant Sunoco on Transit Road in Amherst.

WGRZ reports Benderson Development submitted plans to "demolish and replace a vacant Sunoco gas station at the corner of Maple and Transit roads with a stand alone 7,244-square-foot restaurant." The plans also call for a drive-thru window.

The Amherst Planning Board will meet on March 21 to discuss the plans.
