Joe’s Picks: September 5-8
The sun is still shining and festival season rolls on into the fall in WNY - the 57th Annual Lewiston Peach Festival is this weekend in Academy Park in the village of Lewiston with live music and dance, rides and games for the whole family, food and of course plenty of fresh peaches grown right here in WNY.
Kissing Bridge helps kick off Oktoberfest season - you know, an excuse to drink beer while the leaves change colors. Buffalo's Best Beer & Music Festival is this Saturday from 1-8 with over 20 craft beers and ciders, live music and Uncle Tony's delicious BBQ from Willie's Smokehouse. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the beautful scenery of Kissing Bridge.
JACK makes one final trip to Mickey Rats this Saturday but this time it's actually for a great cause. Come out in support of Evan, the grandson of our beloved friend Vic who has been battling a rare tumor for more than half of his young life. Tickets are just $25 and include open bar and a free buffet courtesy of Mickey Rats plus tons of incredible auction and basket prizes.
