Oh yes we are not only going to be wetting our whistles with Jack while listening to Jack FM, we will be cooking with Jack!! Yes you read that right... we decided for this Fourth of July we were going to help spice up your party with a few our favorite Jack Daniels recipes!... From appetizers to dessert and of course a little night cap, check out how to Jack up your Fourth below!

To begin we will start you off with an amazing Jack Daniels Marinade, from Cooks.com, that is good for any finger lickin' appetizer. No matter what you choose, shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, or any meat shish kabab, this marinade is bound to please. Remember when marinating it's good to let the item sit in the marinade for at least 2 hours, some believe more is better!

Next, on to how to make the marinade. What will you need you may ask. Start with making sure you have a bottle of Jack Daniels. Once that has been confirmed you can move on to the rest!

Jack Daniels Marinade:
1/4 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup Minced Green Onions (with the tops)
1/4 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Not salt)
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

How to Prepare:
For the simple marinading blend all ingredients together. Additional marinade can be used for basting while cooking and should be used while cooking any seafood dish. For basting you will take the additional marinade and place it in a sauce pan. Add in a tablespoon of Cornstarch, and bring contents to a boil. Then allow the sauce to simmer for 15 minutes. Voila, it's ready to be used for basting!

Onto the main attraction, Jack Daniels Glazed Ham, found on About.com. Just thinking about this dish makes my mouth water!

Ingredients needed:
4 to 6 pound boneless fully cooked smoked ham half
1/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
1 tablespoon finely grated orange peel
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
orange slices, thinly sliced
curly endive, for garnish

How to prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next you'll need a roasting pan with a rack in it. Roast the ham for uncovered for about 20 minutes per pound, unless you have a meat thermometer which then you would roast until you reached an internal temperature of 140 degrees! Once the ham is in the oven start on your glaze. Simmer the brown sugar, Jack Daniels Whiskey, orange peals, cloves and allspice in a sauce pan for about 15 minutes, or until slightly thick. With 20 minutes left to the ham, brush your Jack Daniels glaze over it and let it finish cooking. If you'd like to get fancy garnish with orange slices and endives!!

Finish off your meal with a truly American treat with our favorite Jack Daniels Bourbon Pecan Pie... Oh yes you heard that right a Bourbon Pecan Pie!! Topped, of course, with some amazing whipped cream! On to the ingredients...

Ingredients needed:
2 grade A large eggs (slightly beaten)
1/4 cup dark Karo syrup
3/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons corn starch
8 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup Jack Daniels bourbon
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 bag pecan halves

How to bake this fantastic treat:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix the eggs and Karo syrup, until smooth. Next add in the sugar and cornstarch and set aside. In a pan melt the butter and chocolate together, but make sure you cool them before adding to the egg mixture, otherwise you will begin to cook the eggs and it will throw off your entire pie! Along with the chocolate, butter mixture add in the Jack Daniels Bourbon, make sure your mixer is on a slow speed.
In a 9 inch pie pan place an uncooked pie shell. Pour the pie mixture into the pie shell and sprinkle pecan halves evenly over the pie mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, so the pie is "set-up" and firm.

For those of you over the age of 21, you can also choose to end the night with a delicious Jack and Coke.

Ingredients needed:
1 part Jack Daniels
3 parts Coke

How to prepare:
In a glass of your choice fill with ice. Pour 1 part Jack Daniels to 3 parts Coke and sit back relax and enjoy your Fourth!
