Jack Eichel Is Playing Like The Best Player In The NHL

It was a tough game on Tuesday, as the Sabres lost against the Toronto Maple Leafs, 5-3.

Even though they lost, captain Jack Eichel continued his point streak, which now stands at 17 games!

Eichel scored a goal and also had an assist.

Since Eichel's 17-game point streak started, he has recorded 16 goals and 31 points, which is tops in both categories in the league over that time frame. He's fifth overall now in points over the entire season (50).

He's now just one game away from tying Gilbert Perreault's Sabres record of 18 games, set back in 1971.

The Sabres are in a playoff race and the reason they're there is because of Jack Eichel's play, no question about it. He has to be in the MVP race.
