According to WGRZ, Hofbrauhaus Buffalo has finally opened for business on Scott Street in downtown Buffalo.

The German beer hall has been in the works to open in Buffalo since it was announced that the beer hall would bring a location to Buffalo in 2013. Hofbrauhaus posting job openings earlier this month.

WGRZ reports that Hofbrauhaus obtained its liquor license on Friday and had a "soft" opening.

What sets Hofbrauhaus apart is that its a worldwide beer hall, having operations in Munich (its flagship location), along with other locations in the United States.

They serve exactly what you would expect. German food, beer and even music. You'll find jumbo pretzels, Bavarian potato soup, pork sausage sandwich, and schnitzels on the menu, among other great dishes.
