Golf Dome In Tonawanda To Be Deflated Wednesday

The current Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome in Tonawanda has stood since 2001 but Wednesday morning, it will come down.

It won't be going away forever though. The plan is to replace it with a new one.

According to WIVB, the dome is expected to come down between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this morning and work will begin to lay the ground work for a new one. The current dome has battled rot and deterioration over the years, with a previous one being originally built in 1999.

All work is expected to be completed by September.
