GiGi’s Soul Food Restaurant is Closed Today Temporarily

Before I get into why GiGi's is temporarily closed, I want to share this video regarding my visit to the re-opened restaurant.  I also want to add that, although they were short staffed because they really weren't expecting the mass Community support they are getting, the food was still great and the 1 waiter they did have was EXCELLENT.  Darryl Harvin, the late GiGi's Son, and another gentleman helping out were very professional and went table to table to check on people to make sure their visit was pleasant and also to apologize for the wait.  Overall, the restaurant is FABULOUS and once they get things re-organized ... now that they know what to expect ... I'm certain they will be back, sooner than later, and READY TO SERVE BUFFALO BEST SOUL FOOD!

VIDEO OF THE LONG AWAITED OPENING (Current Story Follows)

Gigi's is closed today due to the unexpected response to their re-opening.  Even I was shocked at the number of people there when I went to patronize and support the returning restaurant.  The line was amazingly long with, from what I could see, only 1 Waiter and a Cashier with Darryl Harvin and another man helping seat, deliver food to tables and greet customers.  The restaurant had a limited menu as there were many items that were sold out due to the influx of people coming to support GiGi's.

Gigi’s Family,

We want to sincerely thank each and every person who has taken time for their day to stop by Gigi’s and spread the word of our reopening. Due to overwhelming support from the community after 3 long years of waiting, we have under estimated our daily food supply needed to keep up with demand. In addition, the number of employees needed to keep up with demand has been inadequate. For this, we apologize. In order to re-evaluate our supply and employee needs, tomorrow February 28th we will be closed. We will re-open on Friday. This will help us to better strategize giving all of you the best service we possibly can.
