Sad news out of the world of football on Monday morning as former Bills quarterback Tavaris Jackson passed away after being involved in a car accident in Alabama.

He was only 36.

Jackson was traded to the Bills in 2012 from the Seattle Seahawks and spent that one season as Ryan Fitzpatrick's backup.

Most of his years were spent in Seattle and Minnesota, where Jackson was once the starting quarterback for the Vikings.

Jackson threw for over 7,000 passing yards in his 10-year NFL career.
