Obviously, this will only calm some parents anxieties but it will also give them an idea what their state offers and or lacks in when it comes to teenage drivers. WalletHub analysts compared all 50 states using the same metrics to determine the ranking. "The data set ranges from number of teen driver fatalities to average cost of car repairs to presence of impaired-driving laws."

So which state is the safest for teen drivers? New York.

Turns out New York ranked above average on almost all of the key metrics used in this study and that is great news for parents and teen drivers alike.
