Freezing rain was the story on Sunday here in Western New York, with the worst being during the morning hours. I saw a few accidents on my drive on Sunday.

That's luckily over but mother nature isn't through with us yet.

According to WIVB Weather, mixed precipitation tonight will turn to snow during the overnight and last through Monday.

Accumulations across WNY should be 1-2 inches, while 2-4 inches is expected for areas further east of Buffalo, especially towards Rochester.

The week-long forecast calls for more snow showers on Wednesday and Friday as well.

It's officially the holiday season, so I'm perfectly fine with snow covering the ground this time of year!
