The Buffalo Planning Board will meet today to hear a request for a special use permit that will allow Duff’s to open in the former Casa-Di-Pizza at 471 Elmwood Avenue. According to the Buffalo News, “Plans include 30 tables and 120 seats inside, plus a bar, a banquet space on the second floor, and temporary, seasonal outdoor seating for up to 20. The pizza dish on top of the roof will be removed.”

The building has been vacant for about a year. Casa-Di-Pizza now operates downtown on East Mohawk Street.
