Do You Remember WoolWorth’s

I remember the store with the big red letters in the Southgate Plaza. Growing up, my mom used to take me there to do some shopping and maybe grab a quick bite to eat.

Well, I just learned there is still one open and operating! The Last Woolworth's is located in Bakersfield, California.

Back in the day, there were over 5,000 Woolworth's across the country and several located across the globe in places like Ireland, England, and Japan.

So if you want to take a trip down memory lane, you will have to fly across the country, but it may be worth it for the milkshake!
