According to WIVB, Country Time is sending $100 stimulus "bailout checks" to children who can't run their own lemonade stands this summer due to COVID-19 restrictions.

It's called the "Littlest Bailout Relief Fund."

“Due to social distancing guidelines, lemonade stands aren’t what they used to be, and we want to help kids foster their entrepreneurial spirit by offering a small relief to those who can’t operate their lemonade stands this summer,” Andrew Deckert, a brand manager at Country Time, said in a statement.

The bailout is the lemonade stand version of the Payment Protection Plan, which helps small businesses during the pandemic.

There is a cutoff age limit, however. Only children under 14 can apply for the payment. They also have to submit a maximum 255-character essay.

Those who win the payments will receive a $100 Visa prepaid card. You can submit and find out more here.

The deadline to submit is August 12th.

I remember having a lemonade stand as a kid and I don't think I earned $100 my entire childhood selling lemonade. This such a cool idea.
