Coach Sent Sexually Explicit Picture to Underage Girl

A Buffalo coach has pleaded guilty to sending a sexually explicit photo to an underage girl.

Francesco Maccarrone, who is 43-years-old, pleaded guilty to one count of disseminating indecent material to a minor, according to WIVB. He was, at the time, a girls' basketball and soccer coach. The victim was a 14-year-old girl, who Maccarrone for approximately 3 years. He claims the victim set up a fake account and communicated with him via that account, not revealing that he was her coach. He allegedly was planning to meet the victim. Maccarrone could be sentenced to up to 7 years on May 30 and he will be required to register as a sex offender.
