As the nice weather continues, Cheektowaga will be getting some new roads this season! About 67 streets will be done by the end of the Summer and this week marked the opening day of milling.

The town hopes to get about 20 streets done this week, in hopes of getting them paved and then repeating the process.

I sat down with the engineering department and we decided to set up a program," said Mark Wegner, Cheektowaga Highway Superintendent. "So we do roughly 67 streets and next year we should be around the town once. and then we'll start all over again", according to WGRZ.
