This morning we woke up to the news that the City of Tonawanda was dealing with two critical scenes, very close together. It is unclear if they are related.

At one scene, it was confirmed that a City of Tonawanda police officer was shot at, (as well as a police vehicle), and was hit 4 times. The officer is at ECMC receiving treatment. According to WIVB:

Police with both the City and Town of Tonawanda, along with Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were spotted investigating at Morgan St. and Kohler St. around 4 a.m.

At the same time, New York State Troopers and Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were found at a scene on Morgan St. and Bouck St.
